Instructions for Presenters

Thank You for Presenting at IUMS 2022

This page is designed to guide you through the speaker process including resources, instructions, and deadlines. Reference the section below specific to your speaker type/role within the congress and follow the outlined steps.

Please note the official congress time zone is Central European Summer Time (CEST/GMT+2) – Rotterdam time.

Attend a Technical Briefing

There will be 30-min technical briefings explaining the functionalities of the Live Q&A sessions and addressing any questions you may have. The briefings will take place on Monday, July 11, 2022.

Presenters will need to  select only one slot  and join the rehearsal then. Emails including Zoom links for each of the briefings were sent on July 5, 2022.

Monday, July 11th at 09:00 PM

All slots are stated in Central European Summer Time (CEST/GMT+2/UTC+2) – Rotterdam time.

As an Invited Speaker, you will need to:

  • Register for the Congress*
  • Submit an abstract for your lecture*
  • Complete Publication Consent Form**
  • Submit short biography and photograph (headshot) for the virtual platform and Meet the Faculty page*

*A link was emailed to you. If you didn’t receive it yet, please email asap: iums2022@kenes.com
**Filling in these forms is mandatory in order to participate as a speaker/chair in the Congress.

PowerPoint Guidelines

  • Please ensure that the presentation slide deck is 16:9. Click here for instructions.
  • We recommend that you label all slides that include unpublished data with a title: “UNPUBLISHED DATA – DO NOT COPY OR DISTRIBUTE”.
  • Additional tips on how to prepare your presentation are available here. 

Zoom link for your Live session

Please be informed that a Zoom link for your Live session will be provided to you 2-3 days before the start of the Congress. The link will be sent as a Outlook calendar invite. Once you accept it, it will be added in your diary in the correct time zone.

As an Oral Presenter, you will need to:

  • Register for the Congress by July 6 via the link HERE
  • Complete Publication Consent Form*
  • Submit short biography and photograph (headshot) for the virtual platform*

  • Register for the Congress by July 6 via the link HERE 
  • CLICK HERE to read the Detailed technical specifications on how to prepare and upload your E-Poster.
  • Submit your E-Poster – a link was sent to you via email. If you didn’t receive the link yet, please email asap: abstracts@kenes.com
